What is Nitrox? Also called EAN (Enriched Air Nitrox), it's a diving gas where the O2 percentage is higher than the traditional 21%. Why should I dive with Nitrox, you might ask? By having a higher level of O2 in your tank, you lessen the Nitrogen in your system, allowing you to stay underwater longer while reducing your risk of decompression sickness.
